What sound card should a college radio station use ?

We just need simply a sound card to connect the output (RCA cables, 1/4, dual, that is, a red and white one) from the mixing board to the computer. That is all.
Of course, we’re a small budget station, so we don’t have the money [...]

Another obstacle of getting back on the air: our sound card is broken.
We had a Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS Platinum Pro sound card which transfers the output from the mixing board to the its External I/O Hub . Then a Firewire cord and another one is bundled together and connected
