Unimportant college return

Back at the university. This transition so far has been uneventful and no ‘culture shock’ (or surprise) for me, besides walking into the cafeteria and feeling like I was in some sort of American TV Show (maybe an updated John Hughes movie, if you’re that age). Everything about the cafeteria (the building, people’s clothes) were new. People generally sat in their own tables and in their own worlds. It was amusing and I was watching it.

Some classmates (mostly Sophomores) also look physically different or have a different clothing style. I couldn’t definitively recognize some of them, I just waited for them to come to me. It worked well enough.
